CBT is an evidence based psychological therapy primarily used to treat depression and anxiety disorders.
CBT is a collaborative therapy. The client and therapist work together to understand the problem. They set goals for therapy and devise a treatment plan to meet these goals.
I provide individual CBT for adults and adolescents.
EMDR is a short-term therapy used to treat PTSD and has more recently been developed to treat other problems.
I am a fully accredited BABCP (British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies) member with over 10 years’ experience of working in mental health.
